Company Description The Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association (HKYWCA) is one of the largest non-government organization in Hong Kong, founded in 1920. It carries the mission to advancing the spiritual, mental, physical and social well being of the whole person. Services include education, youth integrated services, women's affairs, elderly caring and guesthouses, supported by nearly 70 services centers and over 1000 professional staff. We are inviting qualified candidates to apply for the following position: Customer Services Officer - English Speaking Members Department (5 days work week) Post Date: 15 May 09 Responsibilities Answer the general queries via telephone, email and walk-ins Greet the members and potential members and promote the membership to the members Act as the 'face' of the department for members and provide excellent customer service Be a main liaison point between members and the department and ensure members' comments, queries, suggestions are passed on to the appropriate persons Process the cancellations and transfers of classes Handle cash and cheque payments accurately to ensure these tally with the applications that have been processed Liaise with Programme Officer to organise add-on classes if a particular class becomes full Requirements Higher Diploma or above 5-year working experience in activity coordination preferred Good understanding of Western cultures or native English speaker with holding valid Work Visa in Hong Kong Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent command of English, both written and verbal Good knowledge of MS Office (including Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook) Able to work both as part of a team and independently Meticulous, systematic and organized May also be required to work outside office hours occasionally to cover for evening classes Interested parties please send full resume with present and expected salary to: English Speaking Members Department, Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association, Room 302, 1 Macdonnell Road, Hong Kong or email to: annamun@ywca.org.hk (please quote the appropriate Ref.
